“It was the beginning of summer and you could feel the anticipation. An immense desire to get together, dance and have a good time. It was the perfect opportunity to promote the values of the brand and highlight the island of Mallorca with its culture, gastronomy, and the utmost respect for the environment. An event staged in the middle of the Mallorcan countryside, mainly aimed at a young audience. The challenge was laid down.”
AN EVENT WITH MEANING AND MALLORCAN SENTIMENT
The family-owned Son Sampol estate in the town of Llucmajor was chosen as the venue. The gastronomic proposal was provided by the caterers La Alacena by Andreu Genestra, which prepared a picnic with two delicious dishes: a Mallorcan pork dish with spicy potatoes (porc negre xl amb patató bravo) and a vegetarian alternative. The music was curated by O-erra, The Prussians, Dj Lola and Bibi Smalls in a clear commitment to give visibility to musical projects on the island.
CAMPAIGN AND CONCEPT
The name of the event contains the traditional Mallorcan word, “bolic”, which is a traditional handkerchief used to wrap food in a small bundle when going on an outing in the countryside. Embolic, literally translated as “muddle”, refers to the gathering and celebrating among friends.
We designed and produced every graphic and audiovisual item of communication for the event. We were in charge of all its production and implementation, from the stage and the DJ booth to the wristbands, tickets, T-shirts, chairs, signage, billboards, guest list… Everything had to emanate the Rosa Blanca’s brand universe, and indeed, it did.
The result transcended gastronomy and music. 500 people forming a fellowship and enjoying a day in the countryside with a spectacular sunset to boot. A carefully crafted experience that resulted in a multitude of mentions on social media and a considerable increase in engagement with the brand.
