DIVING INTO THE OCEAN
Oysho wanted to present its new collection of sustainable swimming costumes, made with old fishing nets and recycled fibres, to specialised members of the press. Our challenge was to create an atmosphere that breathed sustainable values in a perfect dance of textures, organic shapes and straight lines. Just like the clothes themselves, every element in the room, such as sea corals or recycled nets, had been transformed and thus evolved. We wanted absolute immersion.
So we chose Valencia’s City of Arts and Sciences – specifically the Oceanogràfic – as the enclave that would give coherence to this sea shanty to sustainability. The launch took place in the Oval Hall of the Oceanogràfic, and the guests were also able to taste a menu prepared by Ricard Camarena with discarded fish. Guests experienced the event with all five senses: touching the fabrics on the menu and the décor, smelling the scent of the sea during their visit, and finishing with the brand’s signature scent.
